China: Iron ore imports fall 1.7% on month in Oct’20

Iron ore imports from China decreased by 1.7% m-o-m but still remained at 106.74 mn t in the Oct month, as per the General Administration of Customs, China. Imports propped up by firm demand at Chinese mills and shipments from major miners. Total iron ore imports in Jan-Oct’20 registered 975.2 mn t, up 11.2% y-o-y.
