China: Inner Mongolia’s coal production expected to exceed 1.2 bnt in 2022

Inner Mongolia, the second largest coal producing base in China, is expected to produce 1.2 bnt in 2022. The province produced 1.07 bnt of coal in first eleven months, up by 12% y-o-y, as per data by the National Bureau of Statistics. It may be noted that Inner Mongolia’s annual coal production accounts for one-fourth of China’s total production.
