China: Inner Mongolia coke producers propose first round of price hike

Coke producers in China’s Inner Mongolia have proposed the first round of price hike of RMB 100/t ($14/t). This has come to mitigate losses that coke producers are facing due to rising costs of raw coal. The revised prices will be effective from 20 Sep’22. Met coke prices in Tangshan stood at RMB 2,700/t ($383/t) on 19 Sep.
