China: HRC prices fall by RMB 60/t ($9) d-o-d

Domestic HRC prices in China fell by RMB 60/t ($9), while CRC prices dropped RMB 10/t ($1) d-o-d today. Current offers:

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 4,230/t ($615/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,790/t ($697/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin, including 13% VAT.

SHFE HRC futures for May’23 delivery closed today at RMB 4,301/t ($626/t), down RMB 43/t ($6/t) d-o-d.
