India has started seeking HRC import offers from China and Russia on regular basis.
China has quoted HRC for Indian buyers at $590-595/MT CFR Mumbai i.e. down from its last offer of $610/MT, giving the delivery period for August-September.
China's Steel giant Bao Steel had also announced to reduced the prices by $30-40/MT for August bookings.
'Apart from China, we have also received offers from Russia at $590/MT CFR Mumbai and Kandla. We are under process to finalize the deal', said an importer based in Mumbai
