China: HRC, CRC prices fall by up to RMB 40/t ($6/t)

Domestic HRC prices in China dropped by RMB 40/t ($6/t) and CRC prices by RMB 20/t ($3/t) d-o-d today. Current offers-

• HRC (4.5-12mm, Q235 B): RMB 3,950/t ($551/t)
• CRC (1-1.2mm, Q195-215A): RMB 4,385/t ($611/t)
• Prices are exw-Tianjin, including 13% VAT.

Meanwhile, SHFE HRC futures for Jan’23 delivery settled today at RMB 3,755/t ($524/t), down RMB 65/t ($9/t) d-o-d.
