China’s heavy plate export offers decreased by $7-8/t w-o-w to $922/t CFR for Jun’22 shipments. Despite increased raw material costs, Chinese heavy plate makers are unable to increase export offers due to concerns regarding the government’s inflation target and increased burden of local demand.
