Hebei Iron and Steel (HBIS) Group floated a tender for procuring 11,400 t of silico manganese (65-17) for Aug’24. The price declined by 24% m-o-m. Bids for Aug’24 delivery are at RMB 6,200/t ($869/t), down RMB 1,450/t ($203/t) m-o-m. All prices include taxes and freight. Silico manganese (65-17, 25-150 mm) spot prices as on Aug’24 were at RMB 6,358/t ($891/t) exw-Inner Mongolia.
