HBIS plans to procure 12,800 t of silico manganese in Apr’24 which is down by 12% m-o-m, against 14,500t in Mar’24. Procurement allocations across units have also been adjusted. Reasons for the decline are unclear but could involve reduced steel production or strategic inventory management.
