Major Chinese steelmaker HBIS Group’s tender price for silico manganese in Nov’21 stands at RMB 9,900/t ($1,548), down by RMB 2,900/t ($453) from the Oct price, with purchasing volumes decreasing by 4,650 t, m-o-m. The spot price of silico manganese (65-17 grade) in China is RMB 10,975/t ($1,716) exw-Inner Mongolia. HBIS is the world’s third-largest steel producer, with production at over 43 mn t in 2020.
