China’s Hebei Iron and Steel (HBIS) Group has announced silico manganese bid prices for Mar’24 delivery at RMB 6,300/t ($876/t), down RMB 150/t ($21/t) from the previous month. In addition, the bidding volume is down by 9,800 t from last month to 14,500 t. Spot prices of silico manganese (65-17, 25-150 mm) as on 12 Mar were at RMB 6,120/t ($850/t) exw-Inner Mongolia.
