HBIS Group, China’s second-biggest steelmaker, accepted the fourth round of metallurgical (met) coke price hike by RMB 120/t, thus marking a cumulative uptick of RMB 480/t since early Aug’21. After price adjustment, grade I coke (ash<12.5, sulfur<0.65, CSR>65, moisture<7) is offered at RMB 3,280/t; medium-sized coke (ash<13, sulfur<1, CSR>60, moisture<7) is at RMB 3,080/t, effective from 17 Aug’21.
