China has approved construction of three coal mines in the Gansu and Ningxia provinces. While two mines with a capacity of 4.4 mn t are located in Gansu province, one mine with a capacity of 1.5 mn t is approved to be built in Ninxgia. Coal mines in China are urged to tap production potential and expand capacity amid tight supplies.
