China: Finished steel exports continue to decline for the fifth month in a row

Finished steel exports from China continued to fall for the fifth consecutive month to 4.36 mn t in Nov’21, a decline of 3% against 4.50 mn t a month ago, as per General Administration of Customs data. Lack of clarity on imposition of an export tax duty coupled with continual reduction in production has led to a fall in Chinese exports.
