China: Ferrous scrap imports up marginally by 3%, m-o-m in September

China’s ferrous scrap imports stood at 54,006 t in Sep’22 as compared to 52,368 t in August, a slight increase of 3% m-o-m, as per SteelMint data.
Japan exports were up by 9% with 48,129 t, followed by South Korea and Myanmar at 3,985 t and 476 t, respectively.
However, during the period of Jan-Aug’22, imports declined by 44% as compared to the CPLY.
