China: Ferrous scrap imports up by nearly 5% m-o-m in November

- China’s ferrous scrap imports stood at 77,820 t in Nov’22 as compared to 75,143 t in October, a slight increase of 4% m-o-m, as per SteelMint data.
- The UK continued as the new top exporter with 44,395 t followed by Japan and South Korea at 25,279 t and 4,493 t respectively.
- However, during the period of Jan-Nov’22, import volume was 0.40 mnt which declined by 17% as compared to the CPLY.
