In Feb’24, China imported 7,387 t of ferrous scrap, reflecting a 68% decrease from the previous month’s 22,805 t. The majority of these imports came from Japan (3,232 t) and South Korea (2,059 t). On a y-o-y basis, the volume also indicates a 63% drop in imports compared to February 2023, which totalled 20,106 t.
