China: Ferrous scrap imports rise significantly in Mar’21

China recorded ferrous import volume of 31,496 t in Mar’21 against 3,046 t in preceding month, as per the latest data maintained with SteelMint. Japan became the top scrap supplier to China in Mar’21 followed by South Korea and Hong Kong. China’s scrap imports have been increasing after it eased restrictions earlier this year.
