- China’s ferro chrome smelters booked 2,000 t of 46-48% grade chrome concentrates from Turkey. The deal price was RMB 60/dmtu ($8/dmtu) with a cr/fe ratio of 2.5. The shipment will reach at Tianjin Port.
- Meanwhile, 20,000 t of South African-origin (38-40% grade) chrome ROM with cr/fe ratio of 1.45 was recently purchased at $249/dmtu ($35/dmtu). The shipment will be discharged at Qinzhou Port in China, sources informed.
