China: Ferro chrome imports surge 140% in Jul’22

China’s ferro chrome imports increased by a whopping 140% m-o-m to 311,700 t in Jul’22 against 130,081 t in Jun’22.
South Africa (172,200 t), Kazakhstan (74,200 t), Zimbabwe (39,300 t), and India (22,700 t) were among the major exporters in July.
However, total imports in Jan-Jul’22 stood at 1.31 mnt, down by 26% y-o-y.
