Yesterday, the price of general carbon billet in Tangshan, Changli and Qian’an areas was settled at RMB 3, 530/MT up RMB 10 against a day before. In the early morning, the Changli area led a gain of RMB 10 to report at RMB3, 540/MT The specific transactions are as follows:
Billet: Mill direct sale is weak, and ex-warehouse tax inclusive spot is at RMB 3, 560/MT with some transactions at low-price. The billet warehouse inventory of Xiangyu Zhengfeng and Haiyi Hongrun in Tangshan totaled 793,500 tons, down 2,300tons. The overall transaction of finished products is average. It is expected that the price of billets will increase in the afternoon.
Construction steel: Rebar steel market in Tangshan picked up by RMB 10-20. The current market price of rebar HRB400 of big size is at RMB3, 930, small size at RMB 3, 970, and coiled rebar at RMB 4, 010.
HRC: Tangshan HRC market rose by RMB50, and 3.0mm coil is at RMB 3, 860, mainstream 5.5mm flattened at RMB3, 850, while Q345 flattened at RMB 4, 010.
Medium plate: Tangshan mid-plate market slightly went by RMB10, and now 14-22mm general plate is reported at RMB3, 980, low alloy plate is at RMB4, 180 in weak transaction.
