Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable at RMB 5,260/t ($809/t) inclusive of 13% VAT on 28 Jul’21 after a hike of RMB 20/t ($3/t) on 27 Jul. SteelMint notes that overall billet trading was largely smooth. Chinese rebar futures contract for Oct’21 delivery closed today at RMB 5,658/t ($870/t), witnessing a d-o-d hike of RMB 45/t ($7/t).
