Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan rose by RMB 40/t ($6/t) on 11 Oct’21. Domestic billet prices stood at RMB 5,330/t ($828/t), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s rebar futures contract for Jan’22 delivery closed today at RMB 5,808/t ($902/t), witnessing an increase of RMB 58/t ($9/t) against the closing on 8 Oct.
