Shengli East No.2 open-pit coal mine, operated by Inner Mongolia Datang International Xilinhaote Mining Co., a subsidiary of China Datang Corporation, authorised for full production. With a combined capacity of 40 mnt/ annum in phases one and two, the project anticipates becoming the world’s largest opencast mine with a 60 mnt / annum in its final phase.
