China: Copper ore imports fall nearly 6%, m-o-m, in June

  • China’s copper ore imports stood at 2.06 mnt in Jun’22 as against 2.19 mnt in May, a m-o-m decrease of 5.94%.
  • The country imported a total of 12.47 mnt of copper ore in Jan-Jun’22, a y-o-y increase of 8.53% compared to 11.49 mnt in same period last year, as per SteelMint data.
