China’s coking coal and met coke prices increased by RMB 95/t and RMB 40/t respectively marking their first rise since August. While coking coal price is assessed at RMB 2800/t, met coke is at RMB 1950/t on 11 Oct’22. The rise has come amid curtailment in coke production and suspension of operations at coal mines ahead of major political conference on 16 October.
