Coking coal futures on the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) slumped 4% to RMB 3,106/t on 11 Apr’22, while coke futures edged lower by 5% to RMB 3,930/t as against last week’s closing prices. Futures prices might witness a decline amid sluggish demand in the near term owing to lockdowns in China due to the worsening COVID-19 situation.
