China: Coal production resumes in full swing after heavy snowfall

Thanks to subsiding snowfall, coal production in China has resumed in full swing reaching 11.8 mn t on 9 Nov’21 – the third-highest level in the past few years, as per state planner NDRC. Supply to power plants exceeded 1.5 mn t, while inventory reached 120 mn t, higher by 12 mn t against end-Oct which is sufficient for 21 days.
