China: Coal movement by truck from Mongolia rises 20% w-o-w

The number of trucks transporting Mongolian coal to China from the Ganqimaodu land border port reached 350 as on the first week of May’22, up 20% w-o-w. However, it is difficult to say whether the number would sustain as the possibility of the resurgence of COVID-19 infection persists and, if cases increase, China may impose stricter restrictions at the border checkpoint.
