- Chrome ore imports into China grew by 31% m-o-m to 1.38 mnt in Feb’23 compared to 1.05 mnt in Jan’23.
- The rise in imports was due to an increase in ferro chrome output by 10% m-o-m (0.54 mnt) in the month.
- Major exporting countries were South Africa (1.35 mnt), Turkey (0.1 mnt), Zimbabwe and Albania.
