China: Billets prices stable d-o-d, rebars futures edge down

Domestic billets prices in China’s Tangshan remained stable d-o-d at RMB 3,790/t ($556/t), inclusive of 13% VAT, on 10 Feb’23.
Steady finished steel prices have supported billets prices, SteelMint notes.
However, China’s SHFE rebars futures contract for May’23 delivery closed today at RMB 4,074/t ($598/t), a decrease of RMB 11/t ($2/t) d-o-d.
