China: Billet imports fall by 10% m-o-m in Mar ’21

The steel imports in China fall by 10% m-o-m in Mar ’21 to reach 0.61 mn t. India, Vietnam, and Russia stood as the predominant suppliers. However, the steel imports in China rose by 22% m-o-m in Mar ’21 to reach 1.32 mn t. According to the data maintained with SteelMint, the semis imports captured a 60% share of the total steel imports.
