China: Bauxite imports fall over 20%, m-o-m, in June

  • China’s bauxite imports were recorded at 9.42 mnt in Jun’22, a fall of 21.3% as against 11.97 mnt in May.
  • On a yearly basis, imports fell by 7.5% compared to 10.18 mnt in Jun’21.
  • Total bauxite imports in Jan-Jun’22 stood at 65.17 mnt, as per data collated by SteelMint.
