The world’s top steel manufacturer, Baosteel, has rolled over its monthly HRC, CRC and HDG prices, while prices of electrical steel sheets have been raised by up to RMB 200/t ($28/t) for Nov sales. The steel major kept prices unchanged due to subdued domestic demand. Moreover, mills have just re-opened after the National Day Holidays and may have adopted a wait-and-watch approach.
