World’s top steel manufacturer, Baosteel, has raised its monthly HRCs by RMB 200/t ($29/t) and heavy plates prices by RMB 50/t ($7/t). Moreover, prices of CRCs and HDG were increased by RMB 150/t ($21/t) for Jan’23 sales, sources informed SteelMint. Rising production costs on rising iron ore, coal prices coupled with improving market sentiments have lifted prices.
