China’s largest steelmaker,Baosteel has kept the flat steel prices unchanged for Feb and March shipments post implementation of increased prices in the month of January upto USD 18/MT (RMB 80-120).
The effective rates for HRC ( Q235 5.5m) are heard to be at RMB 4,992/MT (USD 766/MT) and Q235 plates stood at RMB 4,000/MT(USD 614/MT).
However effective prices of CRC (1.0mm, SPCC) is at RMB 5,116/MT (USD 785/MT).Whereas HDG coil (1.0mm,DX51D+Z) is at RMB 5,847/MT (USD 898/MT).
All prices mentioned above are on ex-works basis excluding VAT.
Baosteel has kept the prices unchanged for the coming two months looking at stability in domestic flat steel prices since a month’s time.
China’s domestic HRC prices remained steady over previous month – Flat steel prices have been largely stable with few fluctuation over the past month.By the end of Dec’17 China’s domestic HRC stood at RMB 4280/MT and remained stable at RMB 4,240-4,280/MT (Eastern China) in the month of Jan’18.
