The Chinese major steel producer- Baosteel has announced an increase in it’s HRC, CRC and HDG prices by RMB 100/t ($15), and heavy plate prices by RMB 50/t ($8) for Nov ’20 delivery. Higher domestic prices on strong futures along with improved demand has resulted in the hike in prices. Last month, the company had raised it’s HRC and heavy plate prices by RMB 50/t, meanwhile, CRC and galvanized product prices were increased by RMB 200-250/t.
