China’s major steel giant Baosteel has raised flat steel prices by RMB 150-300/MT (USD 23-46/MT) for October deliveries in the wake of resilient demand of flat steel spread in the domestic market. Bullish market sentiments propelling the Chinese manufacturers to raise the prices in the domestic market.
Company has increased the HRC prices by RMB 200/MT (USD 31/MT),Plate prices remarkably by RMB 300/MT (USD 46 /MT) and CRC prices by RMB 150/MT (USD 23/MT).
Market participants shared the effective rates of HRC Q235 5.5mm in eastern China are assessed to RMB 4,882/MT equivalent to USD 747/MT.Whereas Q235,14-20mm plate prices are heard in the range of RMB 3,900/MT equivalent to (USD 597/MT). Prices are on Ex-work basis excluding VAT.
However,CRC SPCC 1.0mm prices are hovering in the range of RMB 4,886/MT (USD 747/MT).Prices are on Ex-work basis excluding VAT.
Whereas prices of 1.0mm HDG also surged by RMB 150/MT (USD 23/MT) and are assessed in the range of RMB 5,847/MT equivalent to (USD 895/MT). All prices are on Ex-work basis excluding VAT.
