The world’s top steel manufacturer, Baosteel, has slashed its monthly HRC and heavy plate prices by RMB 100/t ($15/t) each, while the prices of CRCs and hot-galvanised steel were lowered by RMB 200/t ($30/t) for Sept’22 sales, sources informed SteelMint. Falling global steel prices and weak domestic demand have led to reduction in offers by the steelmaker.
