China’s Xinjiang region has received approvals for the commencement of three coal mining projects from National Energy Administration.The three mines have a combined capacity of about 6 mnt, and will be built as source of advanced capacity, equipment with modern facilities and washing plants. Xinjiang achieved its coal target ahead of eight days and delivered about 201.7 mnt of coal in CY22 by rails.
