Based in China’s Henan Province, major steel producer Angang Iron and Steel has started a new electromagnetic new materials technology project that has a production capacity of 400,000 t of non-oriented silicon steel and 100,000 t of high magnetic orientation silicon steel, as per latest reports. The project is expected to boost the development of special steel in the province. The project is located in the Cold Rolling Industrial Park of Anyang High-tech Zone, with a total investment of over $400 million.
