China: Aluminium imports up by 8.44% m-o-m in Oct’22

China’s Aluminium imports stood at 9,573,487 t in Oct’22, an increase of 8.44% from 8,827,984 t of Sept’22.
Semi-finished was up by 1.40% to 167,269 t, followed by ores/concentrates at 9,226,162 t, up by 9.02%, and finished products decreased by 24% at 29,191 t, followed by scrap, down by 6.83% to 150,866 t.
Guinea was the largest exporter with 4,413,747 t, a rise of 6.38% m-o-m in Oct’22. Following this was Australia with 3,439,485 t and Indonesia with 1,127,001 t.
