China: Aluminium, copper and zinc production up y-o-y in CY’22

China’s aluminium production rose by 5% to 121.95 mnt during CY’22 against CPLY. Production fell by 2% m-o-m to 9.96 mnt in Dec’22 against Nov’22.
Copper production rose by 6% in CY’22 to 11.02 mnt from CY’21. Production fell by 3% m-o-m to 0.96 mnt in Dec’22 from 0.99 mnt in Nov’22.
Zinc production rose 2% in CY’22 with 6.74 mnt compared to CPLY. Production increased by 2% m-o-m in Dec’22 to 0.62 mnt from 0.61 mnt in Nov’22.
