- World’s largest copper producer Chile recorded a rise of 14.35% m-o-m in mine production at 480,275 t in May 2022, according to data released by the Chile’s National Institute of Statistics (INE).
- However, on a y-o-y basis, the country’s copper output dropped marginally by 1.42% as against 487,200 t in the same month in 2021.
