SteelMint learned from market sources that central India (Raipur) based pellet makers raised its offer by INR 200-300/MT to INR 6000/MT (ex-Raipur) against last assessment made earlier this week at INR 5,700-5,800/MT at the beginning of this week. However, market participants did not report trades to have reported at increased prices yet.
Pellet makers have raised prices following price hike by National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) made yesterday (23rd May’18). NMDC, Chhattisgarh increased prices by INR 100-170/MT. Baila fines prices have moved up by INR 100/MT and prices of Baila lump and ROM by INR 150/MT. DR-CLO prices have increased by INR 170/MT.
P-DRI prices have also increased to INR 19,900/MT (ex-Raipur) against INR 19,800/MT a week ago.
