Jindal Power has resumed 12 hours power supply to Punjipathra, Raigarh (Chhattisgarh) based induction furnaces from 31 July midnight, SteelMint learnt from sources. Earlier furnaces located in Jindal’s industrial park in Punjipatra were unable to operate plants due to 70-80% power cut by the company since the first week of Apr’22. The shortfall in power generation and input costs were the reasons behind the supply cut.
