Raigarh, Central India-based major Induction grade billet producer has reported an export deal for a rake of about 2,700 t billets to Nepal. The deal price is reported at around $585/t (loaded to rake), Raigarh, which is equivalent to $610-615/t CPT Nepal. Current domestic billet offers in Raigarh are hovering at INR 43,200/t ($589) exw, via road delivery. Billet prices in the Central region gained by INR 1,500-2,000/t ($20-27) in the last two days on account of active demand & a sharp surge in sponge prices following higher pellet offers.
