Sponge iron prices rebounded in Raipur with rising billet prices & strengthening raw material. About 3,000 t sponge P-DRI deals were reported today at INR 16,100-200/t ex-plant. Offers of mid-sized plants stood at INR 16,400-500/t while bids were reported at INR 16,300/t ex-plant. Buyers are reportedly holding offers on less availability & uncertain market direction.
