Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL) is considering a joint venture with the Jharkhand government for the second phase of expansion of Tenughat Thermal Power Station. The power station currently has a capacity of 420 MW, and the proposed expansion includes 2*660 MW coal-fired supercritical units. CCL produced 76.09 mnt of coal last fiscal. The production target for the company for the current fiscal is 84 mnt.
