Canada’s coal exports rose by 11% m-o-m to 7.68 mnt in Feb’24 as against 6.84 mnt in Jan. The country exported the highest volume to South Korea at 1.58 mnt (up by 9% m-o-m) followed by the Netherlands at 0.89 mnt as against 0.52 mnt in Jan. Meanwhile, shipments to China plunged to 0.32 mnt in the month under review. Notably, no exports were recorded to India in Feb.
